Apricot Shell Abrasive is considered a soft type abrasive with a hardness of between 2.5 and 3.5 on the Mohs Hardness Scale. Similar to Walnut Shell, Apricot Shell is preferred by some for its unique characteristics. A long lasting and re-usable abrasive it is also biodegradable, silicon free, and economical.
